I have been taking photos from the time I was a child. It all started when I was seven and my mother gave me a small Kodak camera. From that moment on I knew I was a photographer.

As time went on I worked on improving my talent and ability with the camera. When I started high school I worked my way into both the school newspaper and the yearbook staff. I was a photographer for many sporting events, dances and other school events. From high school I moved on to LA Trade Tech School. They have an outstanding photography section with a number of studios. I was learning from some of the best pros in the business.

After graduating I worked for some of the high end photographers in Los Angeles. A few years later, I started John Gibson Photography. After only two weeks I was able to get seven agencies to recommend me to their clients.

This brings me to today. When you call to have a photo session I bring more than 35 years of experience photographing over 12,000 clients and the knowledge to give you outstanding images.
