Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, John realized he was a photographer at the age of seven. He attended several photography schools, becoming both a tutor and teaching assistant.

In 1975 John started his professional career in the Los Angeles market. Some of his early photographs appeared in New World and Los Angeles magazines. John enjoyed being a celebrity photographer for the rich and famous -- Bob Hope, Milton Berle and George Burns, to name a few.

Today John Gibson has expanded his business to include photographing interiors, clothing and jewelry for a variety of manufacturers. He is well established in creating corporate photography including brochures and annual reports for many prestigious Los Angeles firms.

Being next to Hollywood it was only natural that John would expand his creative talents to the film and television industries. Working with a large number of actors providing much needed photography for agents and casting offices.
